Minecraft Server Rules:

Be polite and respect other players and staff members.

Use common sense.

1. This server is a family friendly server, please keep any text PG. 

Please keep any cursing to a bare minimum and any racist, sexist, abusive language out of chat. There is no place on Nightshade for anything like that. My 4 year old kid will occasionally be sitting with me while I’m hanging out with everyone so please be conscious of your words

2. No Spamming

This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• The usage of all caps

• Spamming /tp requests

3. No advertising unless it is directly related to our server.

This includes advertising our server on other servers or websites. Just don't do it. We will never encourage anyone to spam our information anywhere. 

4. The usage of cheats, cheat clients/mods, and exploits are strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• X-rays, speed hacks, duping, exploiting glitches, cheat scripts, etc..

• Hacks are not allowed, and the use of them will result in an IP ban

5. No posing as a staff member.

If you would like to become a member of staff, submit an application by doing /apply staff in Minecraft.

6. No griefing, raiding, and stealing. 

If you have a question if a build is able to be raided - ask a member of staff! Taking apricorns from other player’s trees is not considered griefing as they grow back automatically without the use of resources. Destroying the tree however is considered griefing.

7. Do not ask staff for items, Pokémon, permissions, or for any of your applications to be looked at.

• We do not hand out items and permissions to players

• We will look at your application when we get to it. Not all applications are accepted or denied on the spot, so it may be pending on different circumstances.

8. Keep global chat in English.

Please use DMs to discuss in other languages.

9. No scamming other players.

This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Asking new players to trade Pokémon with the right natures for Pokémon that are not of equal value.

• Do not try to scam new players into trying to trade you items that are valuable for items that are not of equal value.

• Do not post fake auctions/gts listings (different named items) or auction/gts list useless items for a high price excessively.

10. Be respectful of other players and their claims.

Do not build close to them without their permission as your region could be removed or moved by staff.

11. Do not do "Alt Trades" to gain an advantage over other players (Using an Alt account to give yourself more Pokémon/items/money).

You may not use any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, sexist, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-gay or otherwise objectionable language in chat or toward any other player or staff member.

You are responsible for your account. If you let someone play on your account, you are held fully responsible for his/her actions.

Nightshade's Discord Rules:

1. No spamming of any channel.

• This includes links to other servers - Minecraft or Discord - OR spamming other servers with our Discord/Minecraft server info.

2. Use the respective channel of the topic you're talking about.

3. No vulgar, racist, pornographic or sexist language and or images

4. No aggressive behavior towards anyone on our discord

5. The primary language that will be used in text/voice channels is English

6. Do not be offensive or mic spam in voice chats

7. No spamming or harassing of anyone on the discord via channels or DMs.

All rules are subject to change, and are subject to leadership discretion. If you have questions or concerns with any of these rules feel free to pm any of our @Staff to get a brief explanation of why we need or have these rules in place.
